Stepp's has been proudly serving the Tampa Bay Community since 1960 beginning with our first Amoco Station and tow truck in Temple Terrace, Florida at 56th Street and Riverhills Drive.
Throughout Jim Stepp’s storied 50+ year tenure, he achieved just about everything he put his mind to and earned countless awards. However, it wasn’t the awards that mattered so much to him, it was always about the relationships built along the journey.
Those relationships, along with his passion for the towing industry, helped bring his goals and dreams to life. He wanted to educate, grow and enhance the industry. In order to achieve that, he was affiliated and advocated several towing organizations within the Tampa Bay Community, some of which he started himself.
These organizations serve as innovators and thought leaders within the towing and recovery industry. Furthermore, they provide educational content and products supporting professionalism in towing and recovery and in business management.
